What a Saturday! Payton and Greg washed cars and later we took her to her first Baylor football game.

First trip to California

Last weekend was my sister's bachelorette party and Payton and I flew home to California. I think any new mom would be nervous bringing their 4 1/2 month old on a flight....but Payton got a stomach bug the day before we left. Thank God for my friend Ginger. She calmed me down and entertained Payton. Payton did very well on the plane despite my nervousness. My parents took her for 2 whole nights without me and she got to meet her great grandma Otto too. On the way home we sat next to another 4 month old baby. I wonder if they put us all in the same row on purpose???

4 months!!!

Wow....time is flying. Payton went for her four month check-up today and she did great. She weighs 16.1 lbs and is 25 inches long. I took some pictures as she was waking up from her nap. She got some hot pink bandaids this time. The doctor said she can also start trying real food. We tried steamed carrots today and she gagged. I hope she likes vegetables more than her dad!!!
