Finley has arrived....

Finley Claire is here.... We are now a family of 4!!! She was born September 27,2011 weighing 7 lbs 3 oz and 20 inches long. I was a little nervous being awake for this c-section but the anaesthesiologist was excellent!! Greg and I talked the whole time, to each other, the Doctors, and Greg even got to see behind the curtain...yikes!!! We feel so blessed to have two sweet girls. Everything is going well...I am trying to find a new normal and Payton is loving being a big sister . Our house isn't clean anymore, laundry is backing up, toys are everywhere and I am trying to be OK with it all :) Who knew how much time you had with just one kiddo!?! Finley is a good baby, looks a whole lot like Payton as a baby (which means a whole lot like their Daddy :). We couldn't be more proud and happy!

Long update....

Since I haven't posted in months, I figured I will add a bunch of pictures to show what we have been doing. In case you didn't know....baby number 2 is a girl!! We are so excited for Payton to have a little sister. Greg is a little nervous about a house full of girls haha. Ok, let the pictures begin :)

It was too windy to go on the boat so we pulled Payton on the tube behind the golf cart...she loved it!!!

Texas Blue Bonnets

It has been one year since our last attempt at taking blue bonnet pictures. I thought I would include them so you could see our chubby little Papes. With a little help from Daddy we actually got some decent pictures this year, but we had to move fast. While I was playing photographer Greg was noticing all the chiggers jumping on his feet (yikes). Luckily we all walked away with no bites!!!

UPDATES!!!!

A few updates from the Davis family:

1. We have moved and are getting settled every day.

2. The second day we were in the new house we had sewer back up and get on our brand new carpet!!! A root from one of the trees in the front yard grew into the main sewer drain. A horrible thing to happen in your new house. The good news is we are fixed and running great now.

3. Payton got bit TWICE by a girl at school today!!! Greg is mad that Payton didnt fight back :) haha. The little girl did leave some marks.

4. Last but not least, Payton will be a big sister this fall. Here is a picture of the newest Davis :) We are so very excited and feel very blessed!!!!

I am a bad blogger!!!

I am so sorry to anyone that actually does check our blog. I didn't realize how long it has been since I have updated everyone :( Payton is doing great and learning new things every day. She is a funny little girl!!! We have been talking and praying about possibly moving and decided to put our house on the market to see if we were even able sell. The first day I received two calls to show the house and we had an offer the next day!!! So....we are moving. There is so much to do in just one month. We have found a great home in an excellent school district and are excited to make it our own. Here is a picture of Payton with our for sale sign. I cried when I saw the realtor put it in the ground. I will miss this house and all of our memories.
